About the Event

Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early. We will start at 5pm.

Make sure to read through all the event information so you know what to expect, how to prepare and what to bring.

Rachael Freedman will guide you through a series of restorative yoga poses, while Luz María Ampuero takes you on a journey with her live sacred music. You will be fully immersed in a live concert of relaxation. This is a great opportunity to nourish your body, mind and soul through the practice of yoga combined with sound healing.

The intention of this session is to prepare you for the upcoming transition from summer to fall, and help you integrate the last six months. This session is about taking time to acknowledge your growth and ways you have expanded, especially over the last six months, while also leaving behind what no longer serves you. You will get to experience the power that yoga, sound, breath and meditation have to support you to come into better alignment with yourself and live in the fullest expression of yourself.

Please come with an open heart and mind. It's important to have an empty stomach, a light snack is ok if you're hungry.

What is Restorative Yoga

A relaxing class to soothe and calm the nervous system. Poses are held for longer periods of time (10-25 minutes) using props to support the body to be comfortable in order to rest and let the nervous system settle. In class, always listen to your body. If a pose no longer serves you, gently come out of it and rest in savasana.
